موسيقيات بعبدات وتريات الأمل 2023
رغم الظروف الصعبة التي تمرّ بها البلاد، بقيت “موسيقيات بعبدات” متماسكة ومتصدية لكلّ الصعاب. فها هي تعود هذا العام بِنسختها السابعة مع برنامج إنتقائي يجمع بين موسيقى حقبة الباروك وموسيقى الحجرة وموسيقى القرن العشرين وموسيقى الشعوب و الجاز.
تَمتدْ النسخة الجديدة على مدى شهر ونصف من 10 تشرين الأول الى 29 تشرين الثاني مع فعاليات موسيقية كلّها مُختارة بعناية ومُقدّمة للجمهور بشكلٍ مجاني.
إن مواعيد الحفلات الغير متقاربة من بعضها البعض، ستَسمح للجمهور بالحضور والمشاركة بشكل مُتكرر.
ولإسعاد مُحبّي الموسيقى، تؤمن لجنة هذا المهرجان الرائع الذي وُلدَ في بعبدات عام 2016، ولِلسنة الثانية على التوالي، نقلٌ مجاني بالحافلات من مدينة بيروت.
ضمن البرنامج المقرر لنسخة العام 2023، يُقدم موسيقيون عالميون من النمسا وسويسرا والمانيا واسبانيا و فرنسا والبرازيل والولايات المتحدة وبالطبع من لبنان عروضاً عدّة. واختارت اللجنة شعار “Strings of Hope” وتريات الأمل، كردّ فعلٍ على الفترة الحرجة التي يعيشها لبنان منذ العام 2019.
افتتاح نسخة 2023 من “موسيقيات بعبدات” سيكون مع اوركسترا حجرة بيروت (Beirut Chamber Orchestra) حيث تتألف هذه الفرقة من موسيقيين مرموقين من لبنان.
من نيويورك الى لبنان يأتي المايسترو الفرنسي Jean-Pierre Schmitt لقيادة الأوركسترا وJavier Oviedo عازف الساكسوفون الأميركي لتأدية باقة من المقطوعات برفقة الأوركسترا.
حفل الإفتتاح في 10 تشرين في بعبدات، حيث سيستمع الجمهور الى مؤلفات نيكولا شعنينNicolas J. Chaanine ، المؤلف اللبناني الشاب والواعد، من خلال مقطوعات بعضُها مستوحى من قصائد الشاعرة ندى سكاف. هذا و بالإضافة الى روائع فيليكس مندلسون ولويس مايور وكميل سان سانس.
يعود عازف البيانو النمساوي اللآمع Aaron Pilsan، بِدعمٍ من السفارة النمساوية وبالتعاون مع المعهد الوطني العالي للموسيقى، لإحياء حفلين: الحفل الأول يتضمن أعمال لمؤلفين من الحقبة الكلاسيكية والرومنسية بالإضافة الى الموسيقى المعاصرة. وبذلك، يُحيي عازف البيانو الشاب، ثاني حفلات المهرجان للموسم الجديد مساء الأحد 15 تشرين الأول في الكنيسة الجديدة لرعية بعبدات المارونية.
أمّا الحفل التالي سيُقام مساء الأربعاء 18 تشرين الأول في كاتدرائية مار الياس القنطاري حيث يقوم عازف البيانو النمساوي بأداء الكتاب الثاني من ال Clavier bien tempéré للمؤلف الألماني جان سيباستيان باخ Jean-Sebastien Bach. إنه بالطبع عمل رئيسي من أعمال حقبة الباروك قد ادّى Pilsan أول كتاب منه في نسخة العام الفائت 2022 من “موسيقيات بعبدات”. كان عرضاً غير مسبوق في لبنان، إذ تدفقت اقلام الصحافيين على نشر مقالات ايجابية عنه، كما وقد سمحَ لِعشاق الموسيقى بحضور حدث موسيقي نادر ومميّز لا يُغامر في تقديمه سوى قلّة قليلة من الموسيقيين.
إذاً لمحبّي Jean-Sebastien Bach تستضيف كاتدرائية مار الياس القنطاري في بيروت مساء الأربعاء 18 تشرين الأول Aaron Pilsan ليعزف الكتاب الثاني من ال Clavier bien tempéré.
على هامش هاتين الحفلتين، تنظم “موسيقيات بعبدات” مع Aaron Pilsan دروس متقدمة (Masterclasses) لأربعة شبّان وشابات من المعهد الوطني العالي للموسيقى (الكونسرفتوار).
في بعبدات، مساء الثلاثاء 24 تشرين الأول ، وفي اطار الشراكة التي بدأت في العام 2020 ما بين “موسيقيات بعبدات” و معهد Goethe في لبنان، يقام حفل موسيقى الحجرة للرباعي DSO Berlin Piano Quartet الآتي اعضائه من الأوركسترا السيمفونية الألمانية (DSO).
أثناء هذا الحفل المميز وبدعمٍ من معهد غوتي Goethe في لبنان سيقدم الرباعي الألماني اعمالاً ذائعة السيط لمؤلفين أمثال موزارت، شوبيرت وماهلر كما للمؤلف اللبناني هتاف خوري.
الرباعي الألماني نفسه وبدعم من معهد غوتي Goethe في لبنان و Beirut Digital District (BDD) سيقدم حفلاً آخر مساء الجمعة 27 تشرين ولكن مع برنامجاً مختلفاً وذلك في قلب العاصمة بيروت في كنف كنيسة القديس جورجيوس للسريان الكاثوليك الأثرية، منطقة الباشورة، مجمّع ال Beirut Digital District.
مساء الأربعاء في الأول من تشرين الثاني، تستقبل بعبدات 15 طالباً وطالبة لبنانيين مميّزين، حيث يقدمون حفل موسيقى الحجرة وهو بالتالي نتيجة 10 ايام من التمرينات المكثفة مع الأساتذة الألمان الذين تمّت دعوتهم الى بيروت من قبل معهد غوتي في لبنان، ضمن برنامج ‘Strings Of Hope Chamber Music Mentoring Program’ بالشراكة مع موسيقيات بعبدات والمهعد الوطني العالي للموسيقى.
بدعمٍ من السفارة البرازيلية في لبنان و Dalloul Art Foundationسيُحيي عازف البيانو البرازيلي Hercules Gomes، حفلاً موسيقياً فريداً، وذلك مساء الخميس 9 تشرين الثاني في بعبدات. برنامج غنيّ، خُصص للإضاءة على الثقافة الموسيقية البرازيلية وتحديداً على نوع ال “Choro”. قال المؤلف هيكتور فيلا لوبوس Heitor Villa Lobos عن هذا النهج الموسيقي، أنه “روح الشعب البرازيلي”. ففي هذا الحفل سيترجم Hercules Gomes على آلتهِ الأحب الى قلبه، جوهر هذه الموسيقي بإحتراف عالٍ جداً، وبإسلوب أقرب منه الى موسيقى الجاز.
أما في اليوم التالي للحفل وفي مقرّ المعهد الوطني العالي للموسيقى سيقدم Hercules Gomes محاضرة مخصصة لطلاب المعهد، حيث سيشرح لهم ال “Choro” عزفاً على آلة البيانو.
بدعمٍ من السفارة الإسبانية في لبنان وفي بعبدات، محبّي الجاز هم على موعد مع حفل مميّز جداً مساء الثلثاء 14 تشرين الثاني، مع الثنائيErnesto Aurignac (Alto Saxophone) و (Piano) Moisés P. Sánchez. يتضمّن البرنامج تكريماً لكلاسيكيات موسيقى الجاز، نظرة طليعية للجاز الحديث مع توزيعات جديدة خاصة بالثنائي اللآمع عالمياً، بالإضافة للإرتجال الذي هو اساس موسيقى الجاز.
في بعبدات أيضاً وفي 22 تشرين الثاني وبدعمٍ من جمعية Mon Liban d’Azur يُقدم عازف القيثارةHarpe الشاب السويسري ذو المسيرة المهنية الواعدة جداً Joel von Lerber برنامج متألق لأروع ما كُتب لآلة الهارب.
أما اختتام ” موسيقيات بعبدات” لموسم 2023 سيكون لحفلٍ يقدمه 4 عازفين ساكسوفون ألمان يشكلون فرقة Arcis Saxophon Quartett وذلك مساء الأربعاء في 29 تشرين الثاني. فبالتالي تكون السفارة الألمانية في لبنان راعية هذا الحفل. سيعزفوا الشبان والشابات الأربعة مقطوعات من موزارت، شوستاكوفيتش، غارشوين وسيخُصّوا الحضور بمفاجأة موسيقية في آخر الحفل لأن النسخة السابعة من المهرجان تستحقّ ذلك.
إن “موسيقيات بعبدات” تودّ ان تشكر بلدية بعبدات ورعية بعبدات المارونية، كما انها تشكر جميع الشركاء والداعمين والرعاة ان كانوا من قلب بعبدات او من خارجها. لولا لطفهم وكرمهم لما كان من الممكن ان يتم هذا الموسم الجديد من المهرجان.
تبداء كل الحفلات في تمام الساعة الثامنة مساء. إن الدخول الى جميع الحفلات هو مجاني ومن دون حجز مسبق. ابواب الكنائس ستُفتح 45 دقيقة قبل بدأ العروض. يتم توزيع المقاعد على أساس من يأتي أولاً يخدم أولاً. لا يُسمح بدخول الأطفال ما دون السابعة من العمر.

Les Musicales de Baabdath 2023
Malgré la conjoncture dissuasive du pays, Les Musicales de Baabdath toujours tenaces, reviennent cette année pour leur 7ème édition avec une programmation éclectique conjuguant musique baroque, musique de chambre, musique du 20e siècle, musique du monde, et jazz.
La nouvelle édition s’étale sur 1 mois et demi, du 10 octobre au 29 novembre avec 10 concerts tous triés sur le volet et proposés en entrée libre. Les dates des concerts voulues expressément espacées permettront au public de s’y rendre fréquemment.
Pour le bonheur des mélomanes, le comité de ce merveilleux festival né à Baabdath en 2016, met à la disposition du public et pour la deuxième année consécutive, un transport gratuit par bus à partir de Beyrouth.
A l’affiche, des musiciens prisés internationalement venus d’Autriche, de Suisse, d’Allemagne, d’Espagne, de France, du Brésil, des États-Unis, et bien sûr du Liban se produiront dans le cadre de cette nouvelle édition toujours sous la thématique “Strings of Hope” (“Cordes de l’Espoir”) en réaction à la période critique que vit le Liban depuis 2019.
Les Musicales de Baabdath ouvrent l’édition 2023 le mardi 10 octobre à Baabdath avec l’Orchestre de Chambre de Beyrouth, en reconnaissance aux musiciens, poètes et compositeurs libanais qui passent par une période difficile. Dirigé par le chef d’orchestre français Jean-Pierre Schmitt qui se rendra à Baabdath depuis New York, cet orchestre nouvellement crée et dont les membres sont des musiciens libanais de calibre, interprétera des œuvres de Nicolas J. Chaanine, jeune compositeur libanais dont les créations musicales s’inspirent des poèmes de Nada Skaff. Le grand saxophoniste américain Javier Oviedo se joindra également à l’orchestre en tant que soliste pour une partie du programme. Outre Chaanine, le programme comprendra des chef-d’œuvres de Camille Saint-Saëns, Louis Mayeur et Felix Mendelssohn, notamment sa symphonie pour cordes n°10.
Le brillant pianiste autrichien Aaron Pilsan soutenu par l’ambassade d’Autriche en collaboration avec le Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique, revient au Liban le temps de 2 concerts et plusieurs masterclasses. Le premier concert se tiendra à Baabdath avec un programme mixte regroupant des compositeurs du 20e siècle tel que Philip Glass ainsi que des compositeurs clés de l’époque romantique tels que Liszt ou encore Clara et Robert Schumann. Le jeune pianiste se produira le dimanche 15 octobre dans la nouvelle église à l’acoustique remarquable de la paroisse maronite de Baabdath.
Le deuxième concert avec Pilsan toujours avec le soutien de l’ambassade d’Autriche est prévu pour le mercredi 18 octobre à l’Eglise St. Elie – Kantari. Le pianiste y interprétera le deuxième livre du ‘Clavier Bien Tempéré’ de Jean Sébastien Bach.’ Il s’agit bien sûr d’une œuvre majeure du répertoire baroque dont le premier livre avait été interprété par Pilsan dans le cadre de l’édition 2022 des Musicales de Baabdath. Une prestation sans précédent au Liban qui avait fait non seulement couler beaucoup d’encre, mais aussi permis aux mélomanes d’assister à un événement musical marathonien et privilégié que très peu de musiciens s’aventurent à entreprendre. Rendez-vous donc mercredi 18 octobre à l’Eglise St. Elie du quartier de Kantari à Beyrouth pour le 2ème livre du ‘Clavier Bien Tempéré’ de J.S. Bach avec Aaron Pilsan.
En marge de ces 2 concerts, Les Musicales de Baabdath profiteront de la présence du pianiste autrichien pour organiser et offrir des masterclasses à 4 jeunes pianistes du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique.
Baabdath, le mardi 24 octobre, dans le cadre d’un partenariat amorcé en 2020 entre Les Musicales de Baabdath et le Goethe Institut-Libanon, un quatuor formé de 4 membres du Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester (DSO Berlin) présentera un concert de musique de chambre. Il s’agit du très attendu ‘DSO Berlin Piano Quartet’ où le pianiste Holger Groschopp, le violoniste et l’altiste Clemens et Suzanne Linder, ainsi que la violoncelliste Adele Bitter, interpréteront des œuvres clés de grands compositeurs tels que Mozart, Schubert mais aussi une œuvre du compositeur libanais Houtaf Khoury.
Toujours avec l’appui du Goethe Institut-Libanon et du Beirut Digital District (BDD), le même quatuor mais cette fois dans un programme différent, interprétera des œuvres de Schumann, Bach, et Messiaen entre autres, le vendredi 27 octobre à l’Église St. Georges des Syriaques Catholiques nouvellement restaurée au sein du Beirut Digital District dans le quartier de Bachoura à Beyrouth.
Le mercredi 1er novembre, Baabdath accueillera 14 étudiants et jeunes professionnels libanais dans le cadre du programme de Mentorat en Musique de Chambre (Strings of Hope Chamber Music Mentoring Program) pour un concert unique en son genre. Il s’agit d’une initiative pédagogique lancée en 2022 avec comme partenaire principal le Goethe Institut-Libanon aux côtés du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique, et plusieurs musiciens du DSO Berlin. Les étudiants et jeunes professionnels libanais présenteront un concert de musique de chambre, résultat de 10 jours de coaching intensif auprès de leurs mentors allemands invités à Beyrouth par le Goethe Institut-Libanon.
Le jeudi 9 novembre avec l’appui de l’ambassade du Brésil au Liban, l’Institut Guimarães Rosa de Beyrouth, et la Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF), le pianiste brésilien Hercules Gomes donnera à Baabdath un concert inédit. Au programme, un répertoire culturellement riche dédié au ‘Choro’ brésilien. Apparu à la fin du XIXe siècle, le Choro est un genre musical né au Brésil, plus particulièrement à Rio de Janeiro, issu du triple héritage culturel brésilien à savoir, africain, autochtone et européen. Le compositeur Heitor Villa-Lobos dit de ce genre musical qu’il est « l’âme du peuple brésilien ».
Ainsi, à Baabdath, le jeudi 9 novembre, le brésilien Hercules Gomes traduira sur son instrument de prédilection, le piano, l’essence du Choro à mi-chemin entre la musique traditionnelle et la musique savante, à la fois gaie et émotive, non sans un souffle jazz prédominant propre au pianiste virtuose.
En complément au concert et sur le même thème, Hercules Gomes donnera une conférence appuyée par des démonstrations au piano. Destinée principalement aux étudiants du Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique, la conférence se tiendra dans les locaux de ce dernier le lendemain du concert.
Avec le soutien de l’ambassade d’Espagne au Liban, les Musicales de Baabdath scellent une première collaboration d’envergure. Car il s’agit d’un concert qui réunira deux géants de la scène jazz mondiale. Ernesto Aurignac (Saxophone alto) et Moisés P. Sánchez (Piano) se produiront en duo à Baabdath, le mardi 14 novembre. Au programme, un hommage aux grands classiques du jazz, un regard avant-gardiste sur le jazz contemporain, ainsi que des arrangements et adaptations propres au duo, sans oublier les improvisations. La force du pur jazz sur la scène des Musicales de Baabdath.
Le 22 novembre à Baabdath, le jeune harpiste suisse à la carrière très prometteuse Joel von Lerber présentera un concert pour harpe seule soutenu par l’association Mon Liban d’Azur. Von Lerber fera ainsi vibrer les cordes de son instrument avec des œuvres telles que La Moldau de Smetana, la Toccata et Fugue en ré mineur de J.S. Bach, et le Liebestraum de Liszt.
Les Musicales de Baabdath clôtureront la saison 2023 avec des œuvres adaptées à un ensemble formé de 4 saxophonistes allemands. Il s’agit du très prisé ‘Arcis Saxophon Quartett’ dont la prestation est soutenue par l’ambassade d’Allemagne à Beyrouth. Ainsi, le mercredi 29 novembre à Baabdath, Claus Hierluksch (Saxophone Soprano), Ricarda Fuss (Saxophone Alto), Anna-Marie Schäfer (Saxophone Tenor), et Jure Knez (Saxophone Baryton) interpréteront des airs de Mozart, de Shostakovich dont la suite Jazz No.1, et de Gershwin pour finir avec un bouquet d’œuvres ‘surprise’ et jazzy digne du dénouement de cette 7ème édition du festival.
Les Musicales de Baabdath tiennent à remercier chaleureusement la Municipalité et la Paroisse Maronite de Baabdath, ainsi que tous les partenaires, mécènes, et sponsors de Baabdath ou d’ailleurs. Sans leur bienveillance et leur générosité, cette nouvelle saison n’aurait pas pu avoir lieu.
Tous les concerts débuteront à 20 heures précises. L’entrée est gratuite. Pas de réservation. Pas de billets. Les portes des églises seront ouvertes au public 45 minutes avant chaque concert. Le public sera placé sur base de premier arrivé premier servi. Les enfants de moins de sept ans ne seront pas admis.

Strings of Hope 2023
Les Musicales de Baabdath returns faithfully and tenaciously with its 7th edition of the “Strings of Hope” concert series expressing a sheer determination to perpetuate a culture of life and optimism despite the challenges that permeates every aspect of life in Lebanon.
This year’s edition spans nearly two months, starting October 10 through November 29, 2023, during which the festival presents carefully curated musical performances including baroque music, chamber music, 20th-century music in addition to world music and jazz showcasing internationally acclaimed musicians from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Brazil, the United States, and of course Lebanon. All concerts are admission free with a free transport by bus from Beirut to Baabdath.
As a special tribute to the spirit of the Lebanese people rising through turbulent times and from the remains of violence and corruption, Les Musicales de Baabdath opens this year’s edition on Tuesday October 10 in Baabdath with the Beirut Chamber Orchestra in appreciation to Lebanese musicians, poets, and composers, and to the spirits that vibrate with a love for music.
Led by French Conductor Jean-Pierre Schmitt who will head to Baabdath all the way from New York, the newly formed Beirut Chamber Orchestra is due to perform the music of Nicolas J. Chaanine, a young Lebanese composer whose compositions are inspired by Nada Skaff’s poems. The acclaimed New York-based saxophonist Javier Oviedo is also joining the performance as a soloist in a handful of masterpieces. Aside from Chaanine, the program is featuring works by Camille Saint-Saëns, Louis Mayeur, and Felix Mendelssohn, namely his String Symphony No. 10.
Always hopeful and forever strung with art and life and a will to re-emerge, Les Musicales is inviting again this year the Austrian pianist Aaron Pilsan for 2 concerts funded by the Embassy of Austria in Lebanon in partnership with the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. Mr. Pilsan, who dazzled last year’s audiences with his rendition of Johann Sebastian Bach Well-Tempered Clavier – Book I, will perform Book II this year. The concert is scheduled for Wednesday October 18 at St. Elias Church in Kantari – Beirut.
Preceding this first concert, Pilsan will perform in Baabdath on Sunday October 15 a mixed program blending works by Philip Glass, Franz Liszt and both Clara and Robert Schumann. An out-of-the-box refreshing program, very well suited for a Sunday evening recital.
It is worth mentioning that Aaron Pilsan is joining the efforts of Les Musicales de Baabdath to support young Lebanese Musicians by offering masterclasses to four young pianists from the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. The students are fortunate to have this rare opportunity to train under the tutelage of the accomplished Austrian Pianist.
In a continued collaboration with the Goethe Institut-Libanon, Les Musicales de Baabdath is offering to the Lebanese public a world class chamber music concert performed by the DSO Berlin Piano Quartet whose members are active musicians in the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester. The concert will take place at the New Church of the Baabdath Maronite Parish on Tuesday October 24. German pianist Holger Groschopp, renowned for his unique interpretations of the Bach-Busoni repertoire, will be joined by violinist and violist Clemens and Suzanne Linder and cellist Adele Bitter to perform key works by Mozart, Schubert, and Houtaf Khoury.
In a second performance, with the support of the Goethe Institut-Libanon, and Beirut Digital District (BDD), the DSO Berlin Piano Quartet will perform works by Bach, Messiaen, Mahler, and Schuman at the historical and recently restored St. George Syriac Catholic Church in Bachoura – Beirut Digital District, on Friday October 27.
In addition to presenting two concerts, the DSO Berlin musicians invited for a 10-day stay by the Goethe Institut-Libanon, will coach 14 Lebanese students and young professionals as a part of the third edition of the ‘Strings of Hope Chamber Music Mentorship Program’ in partnership with Les Musicales de Baabdath and the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. With this educational program, Les Musicales de Baabdath succeeded in expanding their cultural mission to nurture inclusivity, mainly of the young promising generation of Lebanese musicians, giving them the stage to perform side by side with highly skilled German professionals. The Strings of Hope Concert will take place in Baabdath on Wednesday November 1st at the New Church of the Maronite Parish.
The seventh concert of Les Musicales de Baabdath 2023 edition is a fine illustration of the way music merges and bridges cultures transcending distance and time. The organizing committee is proud to invite, with the support of the Embassy of Brazil in Lebanon, Instituto Guimarães Rosa Beirut, and the Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF), the Brazilian pianist Hercules Gomes. On Thursday November 9, Mr. Gomes will present to the audience in Baabdath a unique concert that features a culturally rich repertoire dedicated to Brazilian ‘Choro.’ Described by Heitor Villa-Lobos as the “Soul of the Brazilian people,” Choro is a musical genre that emerged in the late 19th century in
Brazil, particularly in Rio de Janeiro, stemming from African, indigenous, and European cultural heritage. On the dearest instrument to his heart, the piano, Hercules Gomes will translate this highly evocative music of the Brazilian identity utilizing a marked jazzy twist blended with marked virtuosity.
In addition to the concert and in support of Les Musicales’ mission to boost the skills of Lebanese students in their musical endeavors, Hercules Gomes will give a lecture supported by live piano demonstrations on the topic of Brazilian Choro. The talk will take place at the National Higher Conservatory of Music on the day following the concert.
This eighth concert of this 2023 edition marks an important first collaboration between Les Musicales de Baabdath and the Embassy of Spain in Lebanon translating in having in the town of Baabdath two giants of the global jazz scene in one performance on Tuesday November 14. Sánchez (Piano) will pay tribute to the great classics of jazz music, give a forward-looking consideration to contemporary Jazz, and present their own unique arrangements and spontaneous improvisations. The concert promises to infuse the stage of Les Musicales de Baabdath with the essence of pure jazz power.
The nineth concert of this 2023 edition is brought to music lovers thanks to the support of Mon Liban d’Azur. The concert features the young and rising Swiss harpist, Joel Von Lerber who will perform a solo program in Baabdath on Wednesday November 22. A refined program with a selection of what has best been written or adapted for the harp including Smetana’s The Moldau, Johann Sebastian Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor, and Franz Liszt Liebestraum.
The 7th edition of Les Musicales de Baabdath will close on Wednesday November 29 in Baabdath with the wordwide acclaimed Arcis Saxophon Quartett thanks to the valuable support of the Embassy of Germany in Lebanon. Claus Hierluksch (soprano saxophone), Ricarda Fuss (alto saxophone), Anna-Marie Schäfer (tenor saxophone), and Jure Knez (Baritone Saxophone) will perform works by Mozart, Shostakovich’s and Gerswhin giving the closing of the 2023 season a jazzy wind-up.
Les Musicales de Baabdath continues to offer the public free admission to world class music thanks to the continued support of dedicated sponsors and partners. Hence, the organizing committee would like to warmly thank the Municipality and the Maronite Parish of Baabdath, partners, patrons, sponsors, and benefactors from Baabdath and beyond. All concerts start at 8 pm sharp. Admission to all concerts is free. No reservations are required. No tickets. The doors of the churches open to the public 45 minutes before the concerts. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Children under the age of seven will not be admitted.
For the second year, Les Musicales de Baabdath is making available to the public, free bus transport from Beirut (Sami El Solh Avenue) to Baabdath and back to Beirut, provided by NAKHAL.
